MARQ WINES Vermentino 2013

Displays bath-salts, lime juice, grapefruit and pear characters with a slight sherbet note. The wine is dry, with good fruit intensity and displays lime and pear flavours. The palate is very fine and delicate with a chalky mouthfeel and a confectionary aftertaste.

Con Un Par Albarino 2013

Con Un Par is an exceptional Albariño wine, ideal for sharing with a couple of friends over a couple of crayfish. Straw-colored yellow with green reflections, clean and very bright. With aromas of tangerine, orange blossom, fresh pastry, pear and white peaches. A deliciously zesty and punchy wine! Pears, melon and citrus fruits are all evident in the front to mid palate.

The palate is a two-fold experience: characters of Italian pinot grigio pedigree, with weight and texture and then the back palate is all racy and riesling-like, with wonderful acidity. What an interesting wine.

Hutter Federspiel Gruner Veltliner Alte Point 2012

A clear, light green, very fine wine of the Wachau. Mineral aromas, excellent fruit game with intense aromas of exotic fruits and green apples. An elegant wine, which promises a lot - especially drinking pleasure and great taste.

Paul Blanck & Fils Pinot Blanc d'Alsace 2013

Color: Intense straw yellow.
Nose: At first , lemon is expressed.
After aeration, the aromas of flowers, peach and apricot pits, skins of grapefruit dominate.
Taste: very nice start ,  the wine is  then fresh and well balanced.

This wine is young, it is salivating. Beautiful Wine with immediate pleasure and conviviality.

Pleasant, jolly, and not in the least hard or heavy,  the ideal wine for  vegetarian food, warm asparagus or shellfish in cream, or any tasty starters. Excellent with  seafood, light-flavored meats, light-medium sauces and mild-flavored cheese choices.

Host Sauer Muller Thurgau Eschendorf 2013

The renaissance of a grape variety. With re-awakened love, the winegrower creates fresh, easygoing wines from this grape that are taking the wine drinkers’ hearts by storm. These fruity wines have come a long way from the spice-heavy Müller-Thurgaus of the past. Their clear-cut purity is delightful.

Chateau Maris Picpoul de Pinet 2014

What’s that funny shaped bottle? Well, it’s one of the few whites from the Languedoc (apart from Maris Brama Grenache Gris of course) which really sings with local seafood dishes such as marinated anchovies, smoked shrimps, brandade de morue or, naturally,  a gigantic oyster platter in Sète located on the other side of the pond where this wine is made! Maris Picpoul de Pinet is bone dry with notes of lemon zest, white pepper and honey. Drink by the pool, with or without swimsuit.

Enjoy :)
