Who will deliver my wine, beer or cider?
Grapes and Lager use Australia Post for all our deliveries, because we don't want your precious wine and beer sitting out in the hot sun on your doorstep waiting for you to come home.
The product will be delivered from Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and if you are not home, your order will be left at your nearest Australia Post Office for collection and you will be notified of this with a collection slip. If not collected within 10 working days, the order will be sent back to Grapes and Lager.
Grapes and Lager will not deliver wine to any person under the age of 18 years old. If there is any doubt of the recipient of the order proof of identification and age will be required. If the person is unable to provide any proof of identification then the delivery driver will not be able to leave the wine.
When you have completed your ordering process online, you will be sent an email confirmation with your order details and invoice. Depending on your location within Australia, the delivery time will vary between 2 - 10 business days.
Please be aware that a full case of wine weighs more than 16kg and a carton of beer weighs more than 15kg.
We advise our customers to exercise caution when lifting deliveries and suggest that you consider moving the bottles one or two at a time.
How Much is Delivery?
Delivery to Metropolitan Addresses:
- $4 per half carton of 6 of wine
- $7 per carton of 12 of wine
- $7 per carton of beer or cider
There is FREE SHIPPING after 3 full cartons or 5 half cartons, so the most you will ever pay is $21 for 3 or more full cartons.
Metropolitan addresses are defined as having the following postcodes:

Is There Anywhere in Australia you Can’t Deliver To?
There are Alcohol and Dry Area restrictions for Queensland. Delivery of freight into the areas specified is restricted. Grapes and Lager will not deliver to the following postcodes:

What about if I won't be home during delivery?
If you are not home during delivery, our delivery driver will leave a consignment slip to collect your product at your nearest Australia Post Office during their business hours. If your product is not collected in 10 business days it is sent back to Grapes and Lager.
If you will not be home during business hours we suggest leaving additional delivery instructions whilst ordering such as "leave at side gate" or "OK to leave at front door". Please be aware that Australia Post will not recognise any claims that have been signed for or have been left unattended when there has been an "authority to leave" on your deliver note.
How long will delivery take?
The delivery time will vary between 2 - 10 business days. For delivery addresses in Australian regional centers and outside metropolitan capital cities, allow at least 14 working days.
How Can I track my order?
Can products be delivered to my Post Office Box?
Yes Australia Post will leave a notification slip for you to pick up your product at the nearest Post Office
How can I pay?
We accept both Visa and MasterCard credit cards. Note that we do not accept American Express and Diners Club.
Can I order over the phone?

What if I Don’t Like the Wine and Want My Money Back?
100% satisfaction guarantee
Products are not satisfactory
We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction therefore if you have not enjoyed the wine or beer that you have ordered from us, please contact us at support@grapesandlager.com.au so that we can organise a refund of the product's purchase price for you. You will need to return the remaining full bottles, which must be stored and handled correctly (note that we only allow 2 of a 12 bottle carton or 1 of a 6 bottle carton to be opened if you wish to obtain a refund). We cannot process any refunds until the wines or beers are received in good condition. Refunds will be usually processed within one working day of receipt of the product. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your returned product to reach us, may vary. If we find that a customer is continually abusing this policy, then we reserve the right to withdraw this offer for that particular customer.
Damaged or defective products
If you receive any cartons of wine or beer with one or more broken/corked/oxidized bottles, let our support staff know and Grapes and Lager will be happy to refund the amount of the price paid for the damaged bottles. We require you to keep the offending wine/beer as without it a replacement or credit is not possible. Email us at support@grapesandlager.com.au if you have any queries on this.
To return your damaged product, you should email us at support@grapesandlager.com.au and we will send you an email with a returns form to fill out and a return paid label. Please include your return form with the parcel when sending it back to us. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your returned product to reach us, may vary.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card within a certain amount of business days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@grapesandlager.com.au
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at support@grapesandlager.com.au and we will arrange this depending on the particular product.
I've Been Given a Discount Code - Now How do I Apply It?
You apply the discount code after you have made all your purchases and are in your shopping cart.
After you have entered "Checkout" and entered all your Billing Information, you will be taken to a screen where you will need to enter your discount code.
It's very important to note that you must actually hit "Apply" after entering your code before progressing any further.
If you are using PayPal and have a discount code, please do not select the "Checkout with Paypal" option - instead you need to choose the normal "Checkout" button and proceed through as above to apply the discount code and then pay with Paypal at the end. Please contact Grapes and Lager if you need further explanation or assistance.
Can I pick up my order?
No. Our license does not allow pick-ups from our Warehouses and/or our Administration Centre.

Plus we have a regular newsletter, which you can sign up for here. Our newsletter contains useful articles, news and videos as well as all the latest deals, discounts and new and exciting products.
Will I be bombarded with junk mail?
No way! We hate getting junk mail ourselves - sometimes 3-4 times a day with various offers. Yuck!, We aim to send out our email newsletters once a week. Very occasionally we may slip up and send out an extra one but that will be rare. And of course, we’ll always give you the choice of whether you would like to receive our email newsletters.
Do you have a Wine Club?
Yes - its called the "Tasters Club" and you can find it here. It’s a great way to try a variety of new and interesting wines as well as your old favourites in a mixed case on a regular basis. It fits in with our view that Grapes & Lager is about discovery, and our Tasters Club can help take you on a journey, by providing you with the opportunity to discover a new wine from a well-known producer, or perhaps a new grape variety from a new producer, or from a new region.
