A Bordeaux Supérieur
This award winning cellar belongs to the Duporge family since 1910 (4 generations). It counts 103 ha spread out over the villages of Villerouge and Galgon near Libourne on the right bank of the Garonne river.
This estate has the unique capability of offering large volumes under the one Château name. The wine is attractive and consistent.
The Chateau David Beaulieu Bordeaux Rouge is classified as “AOC Bordeaux Supérieur” and is a combination of 70% Merlot , 19% Cabernet Franc, and 11% Cabernet Sauvignon. Bottled without oak to allow the fruit to take centre stage, it’s ideal with roast lamb with herb crust, pork casserole, garlic basted chicken or a mushroom croustade.
